Diabetes is one of the focus areas of the Institute. The Institute has one of its kind Diabetes Centre of the city. The centre runs a standard program (three months), a out of towner’s package(two weeks) and an annual program. The centre also provides individual outpatient consultations and counseling sessions to the patients. The centre is also equipped with Continuos Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS) facility
