The department of gastroenterology provides outpatient and inpatient consultations and conducts wide range of therapeutic procedures using the latest generation video–endoscopic equipment.
Procedures regularly carried out in the department are:

• Diagnostic Upper GI Endoscopy and biopsy.
  Lower GI Endoscopy (sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy) and biopsy.
