Laboratory Medicine

The laboratory at SBISR is a fully automated, NABL accredited facility which functions round the clock. It provides services for walk in patients as well as admitted patients. Lab has an in-house sample collection area which is manned 24*7; the sample collection center at Gurgaon clinic is functional frorm 8:00 AM To 8:00 PM. Home phlebotomy facility also available.

All the routine tests are run in-house.

Samples are processed in state of art, automated analysers, such as CX9 (Beckman Coulter)-Biochemistry, LH 500(Beckman Coulter)-Hemolotogy, Access 2(Beckman Coulter)-immunoassay, CA50(Transasia)-coagulation, Easy Blood Gas(Transasia) –blood gases.D-10(Bio-Rad)-glycosylated hemoglobin.

All the analyzers are bidirectionally interfaced.

 The lab has an in-house developed Laboratory Information System (LIS) which is integrated with the Hospital Information System (HIS).

NABL Accreditation

The SBISR lab is NABL accredited since 2006, as per the standards of ISO 15189:2007

The laboratory follows stringent quality protocols.

Daily trilevel quality control samples are run, twice a day alongwith periodic calibration, to keep a strict watch on the quality of results generated.

The lab is enrolled for external quality assurance with AIIMS, CMC Vellore, BIO-RAD etc.
