X-RAY :-The department of Radiology & Imaging at SBISR is headed by Prof. Dr. Sneh Bhargava, who was Ex. Director and Head of the Department of Radiology at the prestigious AIIMS & there are two consultant Radiologists Dr. Kiran Gulati & Dr. Nidhi Agarwal .

  • The Radiology department is equipped with 500 mA x-ray unit (Siemens). All types of routine x-ray are done round the clock. Good quality Radiographs (x-ray) are only accepted by our Radiologists.
  • Mobile x-ray :- Mobile x-ray unit Genious-60 (GE). All bed side x-rays are done at the convenience of the patients in ICU, OT, NICU and wards.
  • Mammography :- Dedicated low dose unit ALPHA ST GE. This procedure can identify breast cancer long before it can be detected by physical examination.
  • Ultrasound :- The department has two color Doppler machines of high resolution Logic P5 (GE) & Logic PRO 5 (GE).

Ultrasound are used to view internal organs as they function, and to assess blood flow through various vessles. Ultrasound involves no radiation, and is non-invasive. It avoids the possible hazards-such as bleeding, infection, or reaction to chemicals seen with other diagnostic methods. The technique is now widely used in virtually every branch of medicine. Ultrasound procedures are used to examine many parts of the body such as the abdomen, breast, female pelvis, prostate, scrotum, thyroid and parathyroid and the vascular system. During pregnancy, ultrasound is performed to evaluate the development of the fetus.

  • CR System :- All these modalities are connected to CR system Fuji capsula XL-II, in order to have better resolution digital images.
  • Dexa Bone Scan (Lunar DPX GE) :- Gold standard test to diagnose osteoporosis..

There is MOU with two organizations for providing efficient services for computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
