Staff Nurse – Medical Surgical ward

Responsibilities

  • Do the admission of the patient as per protocol. Give proper orientation including facilities in the room, doctor’s visit, visiting time, medication time, diet etc.
  • Take over the assigned patient with file ensuring that the orders are carried out, documentation is complete, patient and the unit is neat and clean.
  • Administer medication on time by paying attention to all 5 rights of drug administration.
  • Accompany the doctor for rounds and carry out the orders properly without delay.
  • Perform the routine nursing care as per protocol.
  • Visit the patient frequently to ensure that the patient is comfortable.
  • Strictly adhere to the infection control policy like hand washing, use of gloves, barrier nursing and sterile technique as required.
  • Follow proper disposal of wastes as per policy.
  • Prepare and assist the doctor for bed side procedure.
  • Communicate effectively with health care team and other support services.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or Diploma from a reputed nursing college.
  • A minimum experience of 1-2 years in Medical/surgical ward
  • Basic computer literacy and good knowledge of a Hospital Information System
  • Mandatory registration with Delhi Nursing Council

Staff Nurse - Neonatal ICU (NICU)

Responsibilities

  • Take over the assigned babies with file ensuring that the orders are carried out, documentation is complete, patient and the unit is neat and clean.
  • Administer medication on time by paying attention to all 5 rights of drug administration.
  • Prepare and perform the diagnostic tests in a proper manner when ordered.
  • Perform the routine nursing care as per protocol.
  • Feed the babies on time. Assist the mother to feed the baby.
  • Keep constant watch on babies and identify abnormal deviation in condition) and inform the doctor immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with health team and other support services.
  • Strictly adhere to the infection control policy like hand washing, use of gloves, barrier nursing and sterile technique etc.
  • Proper disposal of wastes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in nursing
  • A minimum experience of 3 years in NICU. Candidates with exceptional educational background and excellent communication skills will be considered even if they have lesser prior work experience.
  • Basic computer literacy
  • NALS certification
  • Mandatory registration with Delhi Nursing Council

Staff Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ vital signs and laboratory data to determine emergency intervention needs.
  • Check inventory, ensure that the equipment and other articles are kept in proper place in working condition and report to shift in charge. Identify malfunctioning equipment or devices report to shift in charge
  • Administer blood and blood products, monitoring patients for signs and symptoms related to transfusion reactions.
  • Advocate for patients’ and families’ needs, or provide emotional support for patients and their families.
  • Assist physicians with procedures such as bronchoscopy, endoscopy, endotracheal intubation, and CPR.
  • Keep constant watch on patient and identify any abnormal deviation in the patient’s condition and inform the doctor immediately.
  • Ensure that the doctor visits the patient and start the treatment without delay.
  • Maintain accurate patient records from admission to discharge.
  • Communicate effectively with health team and other support services.
  • Strictly adhere to the infection control policy like hand washing, use of gloves, barrier nursing and sterile technique as required.
  • Dispose waste as per policy.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or diploma from a Recognized nursing college.

  • An experience of 2-3 years in Medical/ Surgical ICU.
  • ACLS & Basic life support certification
  • Basic computer literacy and good knowledge of a Hospital Information System
  • Mandatory registration with Delhi Nursing Council.

Resident Medical Officer

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to all patients attending casualty – medical/surgical/ ortho and  Medico Legal Cases (MLC) and maintain records.
  • Attend and provide care to patients  in the Medical and Surgical disciplines  in the wards under the guidance of consultants
  • Assist in diagnostic/surgical procedures and dressings conducted for the patients.
  • Maintain daily patient case records, prepare and sign discharge summaries.
  • Be familiar with ICD coding and use it in discharges.
  • To be posted on rotation duty as per duty roster.
  • Handover charge/ takeover charge to incoming/outgoing colleagues respectively.
  • To attend CME programs and participate in them.

Qualifications and Experience

  • MBBS with a minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in an accredited hospital.
  • Mandatory registration with Delhi Medical Council.

Engineer (Electrical) – Maintenance

Responsibilities

  • To make department plan for routine functions and critical situations.
  • Ensure all non-medical equipment are operational.
  • Ensure compliance with norms issued by Govt. agencies like DPCC, Fire, Electrical and other licenses.
  • To create renovation / repair/ new projects plans.
  • To plan and implement patient and facility safety best practices in general and also with respect to disaster management perspective.
  • To assist in implementing energy saving measure in Institute premises.

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.Tech – Electrical  Engineering
  • 5-6 years of experience in Hospital Engineering services.

Bio-medical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment of the hospital and its associated installation ensuring the adherence to the preventive maintenance plan drawn and effective completion of breakdown maintenance.
  • Calibration schedule and its completion.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Setting up systems and work instructions for all activities of the department ensuring the adherence of standards in the biomedical department as defined.
  • Evaluate the legal, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
  • Train clinicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
  • liaising with technicians and manufacturers to ensure the feasibility of a product in terms of design and economic viability;
  • Good aptitude to learn technological advancements.

  • Bachler’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with  5 years’ experience in an accredited hospital.

Technician – Lab. Medicine

Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains sophisticated equipment used in the division, is able to properly set up, calibrate, maintain, operate and shut down such instruments.
  • Processing of samples in the sections placed. Prepare specimens for examination in the section of biochemistry/pathology/microbiology.
  • Adhere to all documents and SOPs as defined by the laboratory management.
  • Helps in collecting blood samples, tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating and noting time of collection.
  • Maintains competence in Laboratory Information System that is crucial to the quality operations of the laboratory and patient care.
  • Performance and documentation of daily QA & QC in the section wherever on duty, in accordance with NABL requirements, such as
    -Monitoring of temperature-controlled equipment.
    -Monitoring of daily and weekly maintenance
  • Stock maintenance for all the kits and reagents in the section Ensuring that all health and lab safety procedures are understood and followed correctly in the section.
  • Documenting all necessary records in the respective sections as per NABL guidelines.

Diabetes Educator

Job Descriptions

  • Impart diabetes counseling education for all patients education for all patients who come for consultation in the Diabetes Clinic OPD.

  • Participate in community outreach programs conducted by the diabetes centre.

  • Nutrition counseling.

  • Indoor Patient counseling including a Continuous Glucose Monitoring System.

Qualifications and Experience

  •         Masters in Food and Nutrition

  • Diploma in Diabetes Education

  • 2-3 year’s work experience  as a Diabetes Educator in an accredited Institution

  • Basic computer literacy.

  •  Excellent Communication skills

Attending Consultant Anaesthesia

Responsibilities

  • The Attending Consultant will perform clinical anaesthesia in the operation theatre, pre-anaesthesia check-up of patients, provide post operative pain relief, routine and emergency clinical anaesthesia, and provide post-operative care in the ICU and recovery room. The position requires night duties in rotation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • MD/DNB/Diploma in Anaesthesia with three years as a senior resident at a reputed hospital is required. Hands on experience in latest anaesthesia techniques, equipment and protocol based management is also required.

Attending Consultant – Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Job Descriptions

  • Provide medical care in IPD, OPD, Labour Room and to casualty patients of the Institute
  • Perform/assist in diagnostic and surgical procedure
  • Conduct presentations at the birthing program, workshops, camps etc.
  • Participate in clinical research as required

Qualifications and Experience
