Dr. Jay Relan

Dr. Jay Relan is a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of congenital and acquired heart diseases in infants, children, and adolescents. Trained at some of India’s most prestigious medical institutions—including the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi—he has developed advanced expertise in pediatric cardiology, fetal echocardiography, and congenital heart disease. His clinical interests include fetal and neonatal cardiology, pediatric echocardiography, interventional pediatric cardiology, cardiac imaging, and long-term management of congenital heart defects.

Dr. Relan has previously served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi, and Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in patient care, medical education, and clinical research. He has authored more than 34 peer-reviewed scientific publications, contributed chapters to leading cardiology textbooks, and has received multiple national awards for academic excellence and research. With a patient-centred and evidence-based approach, Dr. Relan is committed to providing comprehensive cardiac care for children—from prenatal diagnosis and newborn heart screening to complex congenital heart disease and long-term follow-up—while working closely with families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
