Dr. Atulya Gurha

Dr. Atulya Gurha is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 14 years of experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychological and emotional difficulties in adolescents and adults. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and a Professional Life Member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists (IACP). Her therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment-focused, humanistic, and trauma-informed principles, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and other scientifically validated interventions.

Currently serving as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, Dr. Gurha works closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive psychological care. She has extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosomatic concerns, burnout, relationship difficulties, and adjustment disorders. She also provides psychological support to patients recovering from critical illness, including post-ICU rehabilitation, helping them navigate emotional recovery alongside physical healing.
