Dr. Binita Verma

Dr. Binita Verma is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with over 11 years of clinical experience across tertiary hospitals, community eye-care centres and private practice. Her areas of expertise include cataract microsurgery, medical retina and comprehensive ophthalmic care. She is trained in phacoemulsification and Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS), retinal investigations and treatment including FFA, OCT, laser photocoagulation and intravitreal injections, along with YAG laser procedures and minor ophthalmic surgeries. Her approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, clear patient counselling and personalised eye care.

Dr. Verma has worked in consultant roles at Guru Harkrishan Hospital, BSF Command Hospital and Drishti Rotary Eye Centre, and is Founder and Lead Consultant at Keeran Eye Care, New Delhi. Earlier in her career, she was associated with Rockland Hospital, AIPF Mission Hospital, Prakash Hospital and Sant Parmanand Hospital. Alongside clinical practice, she has experience teaching postgraduate residents, optometrists and operation theatre staff and has contributed to clinical research in ophthalmology.
