Dr Brij Krishna Dhaon

Dr. B.K. Dhaon is one of India’s most distinguished Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeons, with over 43 years of experience in orthopaedics, trauma care, and arthroplasty. He completed his MBBS and MS (Orthopaedics) from the prestigious King George’s Medical College (now King George’s Medical University), Lucknow, and has devoted his career to advancing orthopaedic care through clinical excellence, teaching, and academic leadership.

Dr. Dhaon is the Former Dean, Director-Professor, and Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, one of India’s premier medical institutions. Throughout his career, he has also been associated with leading government hospitals, including Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital, G.B. Pant Hospital, and Guru Nanak Eye Centre, New Delhi. Renowned for his expertise in joint replacement surgery, trauma management, and complex orthopaedic disorders, he combines decades of surgical experience with an evidence-based and patient-centred approach to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
