Dr. Suman Bisht

Dr. Suman Bisht is a Pediatric Pulmonologist with specialised expertise in diagnosing and managing respiratory disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. She has completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology under the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital, Pune, where she received advanced training in managing asthma, preschool wheezing, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, interstitial lung diseases, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and other complex pediatric respiratory disorders. Her clinical practice includes outpatient and inpatient care, pediatric intensive care, advanced pulmonary function testing, allergy evaluation, and flexible bronchoscopy.

Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Bisht worked at prestigious institutions including AIIMS, New Delhi, Medanta – The Medicity, Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya, and Apollo Hospital. She has extensive experience in pediatric emergency care, intensive care, neonatal care, and respiratory medicine. At AIIMS, she was associated with the ICMR Centre for Advanced Research in Childhood Respiratory Diseases, where she worked extensively with children suffering from cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis, asthma, and other chronic respiratory illnesses. She has contributed to research, authored scientific publications and textbook chapters, and has undergone advanced national and international training in bronchoscopy, pediatric sleep medicine, allergy, lung ultrasound, and pediatric respiratory medicine. Her approach combines evidence-based care with compassionate family-centred management, helping children breathe better and lead healthier lives.
