Dr. Ayush Gupta

Dr. Ayush Gupta is a Senior Consultant in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and serves as the ICU In-charge at Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, New Delhi. With over 18 years of dedicated clinical experience, he specialises in advanced respiratory medicine, modern intensive care, interventional pulmonology, and comprehensive sleep medicine. Throughout his career, he has worked at some of India’s leading tertiary care hospitals, including Fortis Hospital, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Medeor (Rockland) Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, and now Sitaram Bhartia Institute.

An outstanding academician, Dr. Gupta completed his DM in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine from Safdarjung Hospital, graduating as a Gold Medalist. He also earned a Gold Medal in DTCD, secured All India Rank 1 in the Delhi University DM Entrance Examination, and successfully cleared the DNB Respiratory Medicine examination on his first attempt. His clinical expertise spans difficult-to-treat asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease (ILD), lung cancer, tuberculosis, sleep disorders, respiratory failure, and critical care.
